Yesterday I received an update no the imminent Bushido Impact tournament.
Firstly, SCV, SFxT & 3S are cancelled due to lack of registrations. The plus side is that Marvel 2v2 should happen now, and should be confirmed soon.
Secondly, there will be a UK vs France exhibition for SSF4 & UMVC3 (or France vs Rest of the World). in terms of how many players on each side, depends on how many good players each side has at the venue. Up until now, WSO has been twice a week, SSF4 on Tuesdays, and UMVC3 on Thursdays. Gamerbase are expecting increased traffic for the Olympic period and have subsequently cancelled all fighter events outside of WSO. WSO itself will now only be on Tuesdays, alternating between SSF4 & UMVC3 each week. The last two weeks gone by had the last 3v3 tournaments we will see for a while; WSO continues this Tuesday with SSF4:AE solo.

Fighting games return to the European Gaming League at EGL 8 this Ocotber. Two days of carnage will commence October 13th/14th at the Play Expo in Manchester's Event City. The line up of fighting games will be announced in the near future; right now it's time to work behind the scenes to bring you another fantastic tournament series at EGL. Last time we went up North was at EGL 1: Liverpool, where WW/MCZ.Ryan Hart took the gold over LDLC.Starnab in Street Fighter IV. Once again fighting games will be run and broadcast by Armshouse.

Bushido Impact is back! Bushido Impact returns this September 1st & 2nd, featuring UMVC3 solo, Soul Calibur V solo, SSF4 solo & teams, and SFxT solo & teams. It is a two day event which will be streamed by Armshouse. For those of you who are not yet familiar with Bushido Impact, here is the Grand Final from last July.
